Free Troy Davis

So, today a group of Delaware Academy students participated in a show of support for Troy Davis, who has been on death row since 1991 and is seeking a new trial. Despite his 18 years on death row, Davis maintains his innocence, and legal experts and human rights advocates say there is enough evidence to back up his claim.
Events such as this one were held around the country. Isn't the whole idea of the death penalty barbaric?
